Denial vs. Reality
Sometimes denial allows the opportunity for us to suppress our inner knowing in order to protect our heart from pain. In some cases, it can seem easier to practice denial than to accept the truth so that we don’t have to confront a potentially cruel and harsh reality.
Yet, denial in its duality can also serve us as a defense against false allegations. In such cases, denial is our most faithful companion as we proclaim our truth in the midst of our judgment.
However, often denial can be our go to suppressor of our inner voice of truth. This occurs as painful circumstances seem too overwhelming to accept making denial seem more preferable. So often then denial is used to cover the truth.
Despite the best of efforts though the truth always remains even if it is masked under the wings of denial. Eventually, a moment arises where the light of the truth is blatantly exposed yet, denial is always there to send the light’s penetrating rays into the darkness of non-existence by offering us, blindfolds.
It can be challenging to take our blindfolds off the ones used to keep your heart from screaming in pain.
That inner voice is very tempting to embrace it whispers, “This is not happening…” Which soothes our fears and offers a delay to our untreated inevitable outcomes. However, if we decide to take our blindfolds of denial off we can reach the truth and heal whether internal or external factors that are involved in our life experience.
Recovery can occur by confronting the truth hidden within ourselves or our unpleasant hurtful situations. This immersive confrontation is beneficial to our life journey and offers opportunities for us to learn and grow.
Pain is worth confronting even if it means it will bruise our hearts. Avoiding being hurt or not wanting to hurt someone with the truth can only last for so long.The truth is there always lingering in the shadows until it’s acknowledged.

Many cultures create this delightful treat in a variety of ways but the center ingredient is rice which explodes its bountiful taste when mixed with other ingredients making this a very convenient and fairly easy dessert to make.Below is a great Rice Pudding recipe to try.
- 1 Cup of Uncooked long grained Rice
- 2 1/2 Cups of Milk
- 1/4 Tsp. of Salt
- 1/4 Tsp. Cinnamon or to taste
- 1/4 Nutmeg
- 1/2 Cup of white Sugar
- 1/4 Cup of raisins (optional)
- 3 Eggs, Slightly Beaten
- 1/2 Tsp.Vanilla
In a saucepan combine rice, 2 cups of milk, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, and raisins.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; boil slowly about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
Mix eggs with remaining 1/2 cup of milk. Slowly add to hot mixture, stir continuously.
Cook over medium heat until thickened add vanilla. Let it cool 10 minutes.
When pudding has cooled to room temperature, remove plastic wrap and sprinkle the surface of pudding with cinnamon or even stream of honey to taste on top of servings (Optional). Cover tightly (with fresh wrap) and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight before serving.
Makes about 4 super yummy servings.

Step 1: (1 min.) Find a comfortable place to sit. If sitting is not possible standing or lying down is fine too.The main focus of this step is to discover a location where you can be comfortable. Lastly, try to discover a location free from possible distraction or interruption.
Step 2: (1 min.) Now Close your eyes. Breath in and out with slow deep breaths.
Step 3: (2-3 min.)Visualization
With your eyes closed envision yourself or the essence of who you are as a bright ball of light in the center of your chest.
Now slowly allow this ball of light to travel down from the center of your chest down to the bottom of your feet slowly extending out of your body then, quickly back up through your body to the center of your chest.Keep your breathing slow and steady.
Swiftly raise this ball of light back up to the top of your head and out.
You may experience a thrusting force when you attempt to visualize raising this bright ball of light through the top of your head. However, try to not to break mediation at this point.Continue to keep eyes closed and just embrace the rushing experience.
As the bright ball of light travels out the top of you head allow this ball of light to continue to rise higher from the top of your head out to the sky. As you envision traveling the sky continue to rise higher above the sky over the earth, look down at the planet earth, and continue to extend out into the vast universe of space.
Once you envision yourself as this ball of light surrounded by the vast universe begin to travel back down to the center of your chest. Travel back to the planet to the sky all the way down to the center of your being. Allow the bright ball of light scan slowly up and down your body and allow it to spread throughout your being.
Step 4: (1-2 min.)Recite Positive Affirmations
Key tip: BELIEVE these affirmations are happening to you now. Believing these statements as absolute truth is the key component to unlocking what you desire to see manifest into your reality.
At this time, you should be at a calm meditative state. Now you can begin to recite into your mindset what you would like to see transcend or manifest into your life. Take a minute to take slow steady breaths. These desires must be alignment with positive energy for the most effective positive results.
